There are only one or two companies that indie's can use for playlisting and not worry about getting their music pulled. PP maintains a database of actual playlisters with real followers in different genres. They pitch to these real people who decide whether or not to add your song. If they do, you'll get actual spins that won't flag you with DSPs. Is it perfect? No. Are there some playlisters who don't add and probably didn't listen to your song? Yes. But PP is good at policing them and makes it easy for you to give feedback on bad actors.
